I have told you all many times that I am a bit of a tea fanatic. For a bit of perspective, this last week I redid my tea shelf in my kitchen and I actually counted all my different varieties of tea… grand total was 169 different teas!!! I found some long lost favorites I had forgotten about, which was really fun.
Of all of those teas, I only have just a few traditional Japanese teas. I have no idea why, but I always seem to forget to stock up on those teas (or maybe when I get them I just use them all up right away, rather than keeping them on the shelf).
I recently had the opportunity to sample some Ito En Genmai Green Tea, and I have been reminded just how much I need to restock my shelves with some good Japanese tea!!!
